Hi, can anyone give me a rough estimate what a relocation/move of 100m2 apartment from Germany to Singapore could cost? I realize this leaves a pretty big range depending on sea or air, weight, space, etc. but I just need a rough est.
Cheers!

Thanks very much, this was exactly what I was looking for. I don't suppose you could tell me the company doing it could you?
Cheers

moved from holland last year and used Allied. Just look up 3 big ones in your Yellow Pages. They all have websites where you can get a quote online. BUT... some also have the option for a group container, meaning the stuff will ship when the container is full and you pay quite a lot less.
Best thing to do though is get 2 or 3 of them to come to your house and do an accurate quote for you. Ask them about group shipment. They won't offer that unless you ask for it. If you find one that is represented in Germany as well as in Singapore (like Allied or maybe Crown) you're likely to get the best deal.

Yes, better ask them to come to your place and survey.
I did that with 3-4 companies, and got relatively similar quotes.
I also tried to negotiate a discount, with not much success...
