Hello,

I am looking to switch into finance and would like to get some advice. Specifically I'm looking for an analyst job in I-Banking.

I graduated with a local EE degree in 2003, worked 1.5yrs in Germany with a semicond firm and returned to Singapore recently. Decided engineering is not for me and I want to pursue my interest in finance.

How realistic are my chances of making a switch? Should I consider getting a masters in finance or MBA? I'm currently doing the CFA level 1 and have been applying to the graduate programs of almost every bank. Whats the pay scale like for a freshie I-Bank analyst with my background?

Appreciate any advice.. thanks
