Hey,
I'm looking to be re-located to Canada, preferrably To or Van... I need some advice from you experts who have done the re-location thing. What resources should I be looking to? where and how can I find information? I am a Singaporean CPA with 5 years audit experience what does that land me in Canada?

Thanks in advance!

Sad to break the truth to you - NOWHERE.
Asian qualifications are hardly recognised.

A CPA designation is not a Singaporean qualification.  If I understand it correctly (and I do!), it is arguably global including articling with the Big 4 etc.

CA's as they used to be called and CPA's as they are noted in the USA are now merged and a CPA is a CPA is a CPA with globalised international standards.  Having said that, it means you are qualified to "cook the books" in Asia as well as Canada or (almost) anywhere else.
Bear in mind there is NO shortage of CPA's in Canada and why do they need you as opposed to a Canuck from TO or VAN?  Same story as a Canadian CPA coming to SG to work.  Very hard to get a job if you are just coming in cold.
But... good luck.  Visit the Canadian Embassy and see how it's done.
