How long did it take for you to secure a job in S'pore?  And in which field?

I've been looking for a healthcare position in S'pore since August last year.  No luck still!  But will keep trying :-)

To Teacher:

surely you have far more opportunities in S'pore being that there're so many Inter'l schools?!

Day I arrived - getting transferred here is the way to go.

All these desperate foreigners here looking for any low-paying job they can get makes me wonder what crap countries they come from.

First job: Just sent a letter on spec. Is that the equivalent of one day?

Second job: Two years and still looking...

Good luck,

Ol.

Yes, of course there are many opportunities here with all the international schools.  I was just answering the question!

To those of you who managed to obtain jobs in S'pore, did you apply & get these jobs while you were overseas Or were you already in town?
