I have one job and a Letter of Consent in order to work for that company and do that job.  That job however is only Part Time - 2 days per week.

I have been offered another job for 1/2 days per week and was wondering how I can work for both companies.  I am I allowed 2 Letters of Consent?

I have searched the MOM website but can't find an answer.

Any responses would be appreciated

Call MOM. I switched jobs with LOC about 2 1/2 years ago (were also thinking of continuing  the old part-time for a while) and was told that I can only have one LOC at one go.

Ok so I've spend nearly 2 days trying to get through to the MOM - holding for ages and then being told to ring again during their Off Peak hours!

Anyone else with any ideas or experiences of 2 part time jobs?

Thanks

Hi you will have wait patiently on the line. You will get some one to answer a little while it says "please try after some time during our non-peak hours" after you hear this tone there will be a silence dont hang up the phone, stay on some one will attend to you. Every time I do the same, just hang on to the line. The average waiting time will be from 8 to 10mins. You will sure get some one to answer. Guaranteed.

Their lines open at 8.30am. Call at 8.31am. Worked for me after days and days of relentless hanging up after putting me on hold.

Just go down there. They have an efficient queue system. That way you get all the info you need and straight 'from the horse's mouth'!

No, you cannot have more than one LOC. If you want to work part-time at more than one place, then register yourself as a business (sole proprietorship) and then "contract" yourself out to as many employers as you can handle.
