Can't seem to find the right answer to this, but I'm guessing that I'm looking in all the wrong places. Question would be:

Can you, or can you not, work here in Singapore on a LTSVP?

From what I have learned, the LTSVP is the same as a SVP, the only difference being the length of time you can stay here. But I have heard that you are NOT allowed to work on either pass, only search for employment. Thanks to all who can enlighten me.

You can only work in SG with an EP or DP.

Anything to do with social visit passes you cannot - you can however look for work on these.

I think the name says it already: "social" visit pass, so no working on either of those passes.

Also on DP you are not allowed to work, unless you have a letter of consent from the MOM.

Yes u can work in SIngapore with an EP pass...

Just like the CHina nationals who claim to be "PEIDU Study mamas" but at night, they go donk donk and be massage parlors and other seedy vice trades part-time.....

that is why most of them are deported back.....huge crackdown i tell u...

But as an EP holder, u can work.....but as part-timer, so that the gov can't track your money flow thru CPF contributions....

Try it, ! you'll be better off rather than searching for a perm job
