Being into software, its the habit of software professional to hop around here and there.
I am from India. My present package is 500K annually (having 4 years of exp). After all the taxes i get around 30K per month in my hand. No car,  no house from company side. All the things has to be managed on own. I am married with no kids, but in 30k its pretty cool.

Have been talking to an employer who is talking about 4000 per month. (they are not paying any rellocation charges also, neither providing any temporary accomodation when we reach there).

Needs some advice on this package. How does it look.

come on over, enjoy SEA (South east asia) for sometime and then decide where to move next/settle down here.

I'm sure 30k Rupees is a comfortable package to live in India, but it's not a lot. I have some friends working in India on 70k rupees per month take home packages, complaining all the time.

In Apr 2000, I received a 600k rupees per annum offer from Wipro, but turned it down. I was earning S$3.5k per month at that time.

sometimes it's not money, but lifestyle wins.
