If I smash the next  MF who thinks its funny to drift across 3 lanes without indicating ?? Or what if he smashes into me first, do I still get jailed, caned, deported if I jump up and down repeatedly on his skull - all in an attempt to impart some common sense to him ??
Oh well, if you can't beat them, join them I guess....and people here keep moaning about higher insurance rates, ARE YOU SURPRISED WHEN YOU SEE HOW PEOPLE DRIVE Huh

Good! That's what you get for adding pollution by driving an individual car.

Take a bus or MRT and rid yourself of such pains.  Redeem yourself now.

Why not take down the license number and report the infringement tot he traffic police. If you feel strongly they should get the message you expect action to be taken.

No, I don't think the stringent driving tests teach you to bash people up. For whatever reason.

Maybe the stringent driving license criteria is part of the problem. Along with many people's twisted and childlike mentality that they live to keep the rules and nothing else. Same problem kids have with studying for marks only and not knowledge. They forget whatever they studied after the exams because they are there to learn, they are there to get a cert. Many drivers don't care about road safety or manners. They jump through whatever hoops it takes to get the license and then once on the road forget it all. never mind the fact that what they learn is for the safety of road users. They just don't see it that way.

Write to Strait Forum, recommend TOUGHER LAW. Although it won't make every stupid driver to suddenly disappear from the road, it'll be sure to reduce the number of these suckers.

For example, if they drive too fast, hit a pedestrian who go across the street, then punishment is at MINIMUM 10 years jail, if proven guilty.

Driving UNder Influence (DUI)? Court right away and 3 years minimum jail

Driving recklesslly? High speed, swerving left and right, etc. 2 years jail.

That will make those suckers afraid to drive like a maniac again. Fear...it's a good thing.

Would have thought that death on the road would be more of a threat than any length of jail term. However many road drivers think they are made of iron.

and you forgot to mention, by crossing soooooooo slowly..
Another good one:
How about   stopping you car blocking traffic, to let people in (or out) right in front of a traffic light and even better, do it when it is green...instead of stopping a few yards further down where there is plenty of space to park...

Or when waiting at a taxi or passenger pick up point MOVE UP when a car ahead of you leaves, RATHER THAN SIT and pick your nose like a guy I saw a couple of days ago.

No car ahead of him, he just sat on his arse in the middle of the pickup point forcing taxis and other cars to stop on the road itself....

Then he wondered why I tapped on his window to ask him to move up?Huh  Idiot.
