I'm an Australian-born RSA/CELTA holder currently teaching English in Indonesia.  I'm hoping to relocate to Singapore and would like to gather any information on the topic of employment in this field available.  I am open to options; those that come immediately to mind are working for a language institute, working in the ESL department of an international school or setting myself up as a private English language instructor / tutor.  Any advice or information that may help would be very much appreciated.

Hi there- I'm an aussie ESL teacher in the same position as you. I'm planning to move in September- try: mrtedglobal.tripod.com- there are a few names of schools and links to them.
If you find any more useful info that you'd like to share my email is : lima@iweb.net.au
good luck

International schools are usually a safe bet but I recommend avoiding ATT at all costs - the wages are shockingly low and if you have a RSA then you would find it extremely unprofessional.
