Hi to all, thanks for reading this.

Young coupple just ready for our first big move. What about all this three in terms of job opportunities, life style, culture shock, etc....

What would you do?

We know something abouth Singa (read a lot of info, talked to contacts, etc..). Know that the situation right now is kind of tough but...... very looking forward to be there. Also we've been thinking of Aus and NZ.... very attractive countries for a Spanish young coupple like us....... so, any suggestion for our first move? could be easy in Aus? or even in NZ? We're ready.....

Regards from Spain.

Otra cosa mas:
I was in a similar position before, but Sg is a better place for me because I am ethnically chinese. NZ and Aus are beautiful countries con las montanas y los rios que me gusta.

Nice replies, thanks. More are welcome.

One more comment, do you know any Spanish (from Spain) community down there? I know there are quite 200 Spaniards in Singa right now but..... any contact or somebody know somebody?

Would be really nice to get in touch with them just to share experiencies.

Thanks again.

I am sure that I have seen your post before.

Australia and NZ - forget it.  I can't imagine on what basis you would satisfy their strict visa requirements unless you have some fantastic skill or are the head of a foreign company looking to transfer.

I am not being rude - but you do sound a little naive about this whole process. The employment situation is very tough here and you need to be looking at it from the point of view of the employers - what have you got that they might want?  If you can't answer that question, it is really time to spruce up your CV and reinvent yourself.
