I am interested in talking to teachers who have gained employment in international schools. I am a New Zealand teacher and wish to teach in one. How jobs were won, salary negotiations, housing etc

I'm a Kiwi and have been teaching Internationally for 6 years. Best way is to contact Gavin Allen of Search Associates in Auckland. Do a search for Search Associates and you'll find loads of info, including how to contact Gavin. He certainly helped us get jobs!

You might want to join the American Association of Singapore. They offer an employment service for expats known as CRCE (careers resource centre for expats). website is aasingapore.com.sg. I have noticed that they always seem to have teaching jobs advertised. Good luck!

Sorry to jump in on this, but does anyone know of an agency in England which sources teachers for international schools here in Singapore?

Agencies are ECIS and Search Associates. They operate in several countries, including England. While most vacancies have been filled, there are always last-minute vacancies.
TES is another good idea. Look up their website.
The International Educator (TIE) is another option

Along these lines, could somebody share what the salary ranges at Expat schools are for a teacher with 5-10 years of experience?

5-6k depending on whether 5 or 10 years.
Thats base. Then add 13 month, housing allowance, expat allowance and contract fulfillment bonus.
