Not sure if someone can help me with this:
After my EP expires in a couple of weeks, I will be on a social visit pass until I get a new job, which hopefully should not be before too long.

Question 1: How often can you renew the Social Visit Pass

Question 2: How about appartment lease, telephone line, cable vision etc etc. Is that a problem with Social Visit pass - meaning do I have to give up everything and start all over again once I have my new EP or can I keep everything in the meantime?

Thanks for any advice you can share.

HI  -

I was in a similiar situation where I was living in Singapore but didn't have a work pass/dependent's pass.

Since I traveled a lot, I made sure to leave Singapore every month (to a different country by air) because the social visa is only good for 1 month.  I did this for 12 months until my fiance and I got married and now I have dependent's pass.

I'm not sure about your other question though.

HOpe that helps.

cc, thanks for your answer. I actually got the same information from Immigration. And I can keep the appartment as long as I have a valid Social Vist pass, so all is fine
