I'm currently on EP, as is hubby.

My current contract is expiring at the end of the year and I'm not planning to renew.

Thinking of setting up a small business.

I'm going to apply for PR, but if it's refused/not through in time, can I set up a sole proprietorship on a DP or do I need to form a company and employ myself and apply for EP?

Thanks

you dont have to be a PR to register a business in sg as long as you have an EP if what is said in the link below is true.
