S PASS NEW APPLICATION REJECTED

I wanted to hear your enlightening words regarding my current situation. I was previously holding S pass under a travel agency here in Singapore since September last year. I was only receiving 800sgd salary from that company, obviously much much underpaid than what was declared to MOM upon application. I accepted the offer since I was desperate to work as I was a victim of "illegal direct hiring", a job which was non-existent when I came here .My husband  sell his 200sqm lot to pay for the "placement fee".

I really love to work in a travel industry since I have Amadeus reservation and ticketing training back in my country but I was not happy then since I can't provide my family with the basics, apparently the reason why I came overseas,to provide my family with better food,not to mention good future for my growing kids too. So, I keep applying another travel agencies  which I feel can give me better pay.This is when  my new company came into picture. I was shortlisted, interviewed and asked to sign employment contract with them. I was so happy since they will be paying me S$1800. So right away I resigned from my previous company and ask for a cancellation of my S pass. New company applied new S pass for me two weeks ago using EP online. After a week MOM asked us to furnish my Bachelors degree and certificate so we submitted my Transcript of Records and  diploma,not including all my work certificates and etc. as we assume MOM already have my record( last time my S pass was applied through Singpost with all the docs). After 2 days my S pass application was rejected. I cant described my feelings upon receiving the result.I wanted to burst out into tears since it means no food to eat for my family.I was in sooo much grief and frustration. My company director wrote letter to MOM to appeal and we then submit all my documents and certificates which we feel we missed during the application. I hope something good will happen after the review of  the appeal.I cant bear the thought of rejection again.I cant breathe...My stay will expire on 26th this month.Please help me pray and please enlighten me with your words.

Good luck & don't panic, I'm sure that now your company has submitted all the documents, that you application will be approved.

Thanks for the kind rep. I am much better now compared to past few days when I was totally devastated.Even it was not a really huge salary, I need it for my family's survival and it is better off than working with $800sgd salary. I am praying prevently for the approval.Thanks!

Don't give up. Here's something from an employer's point of view. My co. made an offer to a foreigner and Admin went ahead  to process the S pass application online.  Was rejected within the week.  

After much persistence -and many phonecalls until she spoke to a human, found out our company was only set up to handle Employment passes.  Hence the application had automatically gone to that department and been thrown out!

Therefore we had to repeat thewhole process, but manually with the candidate personally submitting all our documents at MOM.  Eventually she did get her approval and is on board.  However, it did take over 3 weeks - but perhaps becuase it went over the Xmas/Ny period?

Thanks! I hope the rejection  was all because of my lacking work and seminar certificates during the ep application. I am quite confused since I was previously holding S pass under the same business line(Travel and Tours). I wish all the best for my companys' appeal.

my heart broke for you when i read your story. having been through this ourselves, i know how hard it can be on the whole family. often there seems to be no rhyme or reason for these rejections, however as with our experience and many i've seen on this board, it appears the appeal works out. meanwhile, see to extending your stay. God is with you. our prayers are with you.

Thanks to all who felt my dire need of job here in Singapore. I was in a panicked before I logged on to this website. I could'nt sleep of the thought that my new pass application was rejected.What will I do with our debt or "utang" back in Phil, worst is what will I send to my kids for food if I could not get the approval. What will happen to my family? I dont have even money to pay for my ticket when there is a need really to go back to Phil. I sidelined housecleaning last Sunday and I earned 50sgd for 5 hours which I know very much illegal but I dont have a choice,I need to eat and survive too.

May the Good Lord bless you.  Hang in there, there is a reason why you are going through this now that does not make any sense but will later on.

I have a feeling your pass will be approved, sounds like a paperwork issue, as you have mentioned

Still waiting for the result of the appeal. Still have sleepless nights since my new application was rejected but slightly better now. I hope it will turn out fine as I am not ready to go back to my country and start all over again. I have a huge debt to pay starting this April, t'was the money I pay to those swindlers.

Hi all,

I feel so hopeless now...The appeal was again rejected.The only reason I can think of is my changing of employer so quick.I was wondering why this rejection happens, MOM wouldn't give reason.It was so odd that I was approved for S Pass before with the same job(Ticketing and Tour Exec) and now in my new S Pass application they rejected including the subsequent appeal. My company plans to go down to MOM for final appeal.

FINAL OR TO LEAVE STATUS(26 Feb) was given to me last time I get extension,I must go back to my country and wait for the result of the final appeal. I  also have this feeling that my company might give up on me and wont push through with the appeal since I am not around. Of course I must understand they need immediate employee and yet they have mistakenly hired someone so troublesome to get pass/permit like me. But they promised to help me with the best they can which I really appreciate a lot.Oh so sad, I can't bear the thought of thinking that my kids will be starving for the next few months,unless when I go back Phil I can find a job as quick as 1 month.

Oh my God please help me and enlighten my mind. I want to die, I can't breathe.I only have money to buy for my Cebu Pacific ticket to Cebu worth 131sgd for one way...Sorry to write all these. I just want to burst out my emotions. Sorry...
