as the cost of living should be considerably cheaper in Malaysia than in Singapore, it should. As always, it depends on your desired standard of living.

Are you referring to US dollars or SGD? Either way, you'll live like a king there.

Hello?

What is wrong with the question stupido?

The cost of living differs greatly depending on expectations.  This post was a request to anyone who had lived there to see if it is considered suitable to a semi expat lifestyle.

So instead of criticising maybe you could go and do something productive with your time

MovetoKL - stupido - whoa, there podna,  getting too eloquent for me.

If your question was based on lifestyle expectations, why didn't you list yours?  That way you might have a chance of getting a realistic response.

What in blazes is a semi-expat lifestyle?  You must be a yank to use a pathetically useless phrase like that.

So, why don't you explain what lifestyle you are expecting...

I am using my time productively by telling a total piss-artist like you off.

Have a nice day now, y'hear.

MovetoKL - try reading another post:
"Package Negotiation Advice - India ?" to see what an intelligent question looks like.

Stupido is difficult to counter, but how about I try by calling you a doofus!

There, now we have ascended to a new level of consciousness.

No Idea, you must be the same unpleasant person who gave useful contributions in an earlier post of mine under the pseudonym, "You Get What You Worth"

What a w*nker.

Hi Five, I must have missed it - shame because I would have made some remark about:

"You Get What You Worth"

You get what you worth?  Umm, what does that mean?

Hi five
That was someone else. Someone else who also agrees that you are a dimwit. Getting the hint yet?

While this is a great ol' slanging match, can we get back on the subject please?!  I am actually genuinely interested in moving to KL and would appreciate some guidance.

I hear it’s possible to find a nice place for around RM1,500 a month.  Cars are cheap and so is food.  So how much should one be earning to make it worthwhile to move there?

Someone above mentioned 180,000 per year - was this RM, S$ or US$ (good luck to you if its the latter).

I am acutely conscious that being paid in RM means you're able to stash less cash in the bank...

Whatever, you both are tossers anyway. By the way, I noticed you both had the same style of writing, vindictive, spiteful and absolutely jealous that we have job offers coming in. Maybe you need to go find a job, or a life?
