Rescued when they were barely weaned off their mother, these two kittens have grown to be a pair of handsome siblings with ebony-black coat. They are 6 months of age and are sterilised. Great temperament for lap-cats as they grew up with human. Circumstances forced the expat couple to leave this pair in a foster-home and they hope someone can give them another chance of a real permanent home. Please call foster-mom, Phyllis at 93364860 if you would like to view the pair called Lonely and Sayang. Hopefully they do not become "Madam Feline Butteflies"!

And what was your point to mention the nationality of this expat couple that had to leave the kittens with a foster family?? At least they didn't dump them on the streets!

I doubt there was an ulterior motive in it. Unfortunately there seems to be so much unnecessary b1itchiness on the board that one can overreact to simple messages, even with the 'good intentions' postings.

Sorry, OP, I'm not in a position to adopt them. Good luck!

OP - I too am unable to help, and while this is straying off topic, the ability for people on this board to jump onto a bandwagon is frightening.

I should think if the bandwagon was going past at warp speed 10 it would still be hijacked.

Perhaps the reason is complimentary. I asked a friend of mine who is a senior person in a chain of supermarkets why Japanese people paid so much for certain fruits which while they looked impressive, were just fruit. He said they did it to support their country's economy, rather than because it made them feel at home!

Maybe the OP thought a Japanese couple may like to adopt a cat that had been looked after by countrymen to keep the cat happy, considering the fact that maybe it only speaks Japanese!

Well - local 'Pravda' mentions always where people are living i.e. 3 Bedroom HDB at Punggol, 4 Bedroom condo in Bukit Timah, semidetached in where and where.... even though it doesn't have anything to do with the article in question. Makes me laugh everytime.
