What exactly is GIRO? I see signs for it, but I donot know what it is?

Simple process where your bills are automatically paid from your bank account.  You complete a form that authorises your bank to pay selected vendors.  You set the date and the amount and the bank makes the payment for you.  We use it to pay all our utilities, credit cards, taxes etc.  Have been doing it this way for several years and never had a problem.

Alyssa, don't know where you're from but the same process is called paying by Direct Debit in the UK if that helps.
