Denise, when you check the schools out you may also want to enquire about staff turnover. How long do staff generally stay?

That's a good point.  However a large turnover can be explained easily with expatriates moving frequently , don't you think.  I would be more interested in how stable the principal and head teachers are regarding length of tenure.Any ideas?
