My husbands passport expires May 2004.

He received his EP in March of this year.

What does he do after his passport is renewed to have the EP stamped in it again?  Is a trip needed to MOM?

Even though he has the EP card, he will still need the stamp??

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

yep - just did this myself.  it is a quick trip to the employment pass department on maxwell road.  he will need a letter from his employer requesting that they transfer his employment pass to the new travel document/passport.  take old and new passports, letter and ep to ep dept - they will look at it all and stamp stamp you're done.  was in and out in about 15 minutes/.

I have done it few times. Did not require letter from employer. Needed old and new passports and to fill in the form available near the counter.
They will cancel the endorsement in the old passport, and will stamp new endorsement in the new passport, bearing reference to the number of the old passport.
The EP is the endorsement in the passport, not the green card.
The green card is NOT the EP. It is a disembarkation / embarkation card (that is stated in the card).
