Nicolette, pengsan is Malay - it is just like those other words that Chinese have stolen from them - e.g. pasar (market), sayang (love), etc...

Haiyah I am Chinese how come never learn that pengsan is cheena?  But my husband is Malaysian (speaks Malay) so I can ask him.  I also have Malay-English dictionary at home so I can check (anyone kaypoh can also go to Times Bookshop and check).  Aiyoh you still donch believe then what to do?

Anyway, donch argue until peng lah.  Got better things to do.
