I know, I should go and ask an Accountant, but...

I am on an EP and have setup my own PTE LTD in May 2006 as I worked as an IT contractor. Basically, I had some simple expenses like laptop, coy setup etc and all the coy revenue (say $90k) I then deducted as my personal income. I then started recently in a full time job.

The question, is whether I should put the drawings from the coy ($90k) down in my IR8A along with my full time earnings?

And presume I then need to work out the net profit/loss of the coy for that return.

Sorry to sound so stupid but I am a great programmer but fiscally challenged.

How about - I don't program your computer and you just step back from the tax forms, nice and easy-like.

Seriously man,  you are asking for tax advice from internet strangers?  Love advice sure.  All you lose is a spouse.  Tax advice gone wrong puts Davo in jail...
