Hi ,
Just wondering if Baby monitors bought from American websites would work here ?
Is there any problem with the frequency ?
Also , if we travel to Europe for vacation will it work there? any one know ?
Which are the best audio +video monitors with good range 300m or so ?
I've been trawling the internet for reccomendations but it very complicated to choose one  Undecided

Well, we are using our UK ones over here and they seem to work fine.  However, a friend of ours used her US ones and she had a knock on her door from some govt official because the frequency on her monitor was the same as the frequency the police use   Shocked

ooh thanks Monitor - sounds a bit dodgy . Well, I guess could phone up the manufacturerers to confirm if that would be a problem here . Don't want any knocks on my door - waking the baby !

Sounds suspiciously like a classic Singaporean urban myth!

OP, I think you should be fine. We've used ours here without any problems. Occasionally it has 'picked up' on other apartments in our condo but that has been rare.
