Since living here i have not been able to find sausage rolls, have found pies and although very expensive are nice for a treat. Can anyone tell me where to get sausage rolls or if not does anyone have a good recipe for them. Thankyou Smiley

Google them.  Authentic pies and sausage rolls just like back home.  There are a couple of them around town.  We get ours from CBD area.

cold storage sometimes sell frozen Harris sausagemeat (there is another brand but it is really gross).  I buy the sausagemeat and a pack of frozen puff pastry and make my own.  You can mix what you like in with the sausagemeat - I usuallly just put a bit of sage, salt and pepper - assemble, brush with egg and cook for about 20 mins.

The Harris sausagemeat isn't the best I've ever had but it is the only decent one I've found here.  If you have a good butcher you might be able to buy direct or you could buy a pack of sausages you know you like, skin them and use the sausagemeat from them instead.

The only place I've ever seen frozen sausage rolls is the Aussiemart down Racecourse Rd.

The only place I've seen ready made sausage rolls is in Werner's Oven at Siglap, but they don't have them in all the time.

I've seen Villis sausage rolls in CS causeway point.

otherwise you can buy sausages (preferrably beef chipolata from carrefour) remove the skins add seasoning and bread crumbs, wrap in puff pastry and bake! Or for cheats way out just wrap the sausage whole in puff pastry and bake!

Piper's pies on Bukit Timah Road sell them.  Although they are expensive.
