I have the great option to be out of work soon and will have loads of time on my hands. Would you learn a 3rd language or would you take up a new skill/trade.
i'm in my early thirties, bad at art, bad at cooking and possibly have short attention span when it comes to boring theory lessons.
Any thing to recommend I should do with my time besides being a tai tai?

volunteer somewhere?

travel?

learn to cook if you think your bad at it?

take a scuba divng class. thats exciting to learn.

if language is your intrest go for it.  i tryed, hated it, found it very boring, didnt get the support or encouragement to make me want to continue. but some people are great and pick it up fast it opens a lot of new doors for them.

Why limit yourself? Do both.

Someone asked me to imagine that it was my last day on earth and thus to write down the 5 things I wished I'd done were I to live.

At the end of that - ask yourself what's stopping you from doing it now?

Take up a forklift licence, learn to cook - heaps of lessons out there and recipes in cyberspace.

Are you unfit - time to join a gym or do the exercise you've always loved but never had time to do.

Keep a diary.

Handwrite letters - yes handwrite - to people you don't see enough off are should say sorry to - sisters or brothers you've bullied or parents you've never said you've loved.

hmm... go learn a skill, be it cookery, photography, dancing, sailing... anything that's not theory but fun ... language lots of grammar, may not be your cup of tea...and for it to be fruitful, you'll need probably a few years... better go for something short term just to kick start...
