Dont know what your routine is, but heres mine and it works a treat.  He has been on this routine from about 10weeks.  Before that, his routine was very similar but he was sleeping a little bit more during the day

7.30am, wake up and feed
9.30am, nap for about 45mins
10.45am, feed
12.30pm, nap for about 1.5-2hours
2.30pm, feed
4.45pm, nap for about 30mins
5.45pm, feed
6.45pm, bath
7.30pm, sleep
9.30pm, dream feed

However, bear in mind every baby is different.

Hi,

I wouldn´t recommend to try to change the routines yet - not until 12 weeks! Then softly start doing exactly same things at the same time - with time your baby will "learn" that all that process will lead to sleep.  For me 10 pm doesn´t even sound too late. I remember our son having his last sip before night was around 10 pm and worked fine for us, this was when he was under 3 months.

My guess is that your baby will adjust her routine as she grows.  Don´t try to force it too much - not just yet. Around 4-5 months you can start to teach the baby to sleep through the night, at that point they aren´t too dependent on the night meals anymore and becomes more a habit than a need.

This sounds very much like my baby when he was under 3 months (he just completed 3 months a couple of weeks ago). He had barely any routine and on many days would not sleep until 10. Babies don't fall into a routine until they cross 3 months so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Mine started going to bed at 7 pm only during the 3rd month. What can help even later though is to try and help the baby differentiate between day and night and form a nighttime routine like the previous poster mentioned. Turn off the lights and use a night light after 7 pm or so in the room. Don't excite him too much with games etc. and try some quiet activities in the evening. Also bathe the baby in the evening.

Thanks for all your help. she has been a little better in the last few days. Her day time naps are almost identical to your one 'My Day'. I'm sure we will get there.
