I used Cold Storage the other day for the first time.  They were so bad - I wished I had read this posting first.  They had to come twice and I had to wait a whole week as they were out of stock.  I did not even get an apology out of them.  Will try emart.

Just checked emart - don't seem to  have much variety - cold storage is much better if only their service improves.

Easier to buy everything myself.

I'm waiting for Carrefore to go online.  They say it's in the pipeline.  Emart is my favourite because the service and delivery are more reliable.  However Cold Storage has a better range, even if they have so much 'out of stock' when the delvery shows up!

Funny to see this old post turn up again!

I've been using e-mart mainly because I too have found CS to be a bit useless.  They turn up saying they didn't have stock of something like milk - and you know for a fact that you've never gone in there and they've got no milk - it's almost as if the person shopping couldn't be bothered to walk around there and get it, so they just say 'no stock'!

However, e-mart were useless last time I used them - they're usually good at updating the website, but I got 2 phone calls from them after I'd placed the order to say they'd got no stock of things.  I sometimes wonder if they order in about 2 cases of stuff and that's it, because they seem to run out fairly often.

But, apart from that, they've been quite good - maybe they were having an off day, or the person who does the website was off or something.  I'll still use them over CS.

glad to hear that Carrefour might be starting one up - I'd definitely give them a try (more choice of stuff).

since we're all praising e-mart, thought i'd join in as well.  love the place, hate 'supermarkets' in Sg even more now.  they do mess up sometimes.  but they rectify easily and with no hassle.  last time round they sent us a very overripe watermelon and forgot the cabbage.  this time round they're giving us both items free.  its the little things....

In case anyone is interested, Carrefour have started their on-line shopping.  However, it must be early days because they've only got about 30 items available so far!!!
