not sure what happened but it looks like thinks went a little to far !!!!

what about the old saying "everything in moderation"

although i agree with nutitionist, it is a party afterall ! Cheesy

you could also have some sultanas and carrot sticks for those children who won't eat lollies etc.... Roll Eyes

That's hilarious, a bunch of mums getting all agitated and troll like over nutritional snacks for kids. That's just tooo funny.

Anyway I am the original OP. Thanks for those who contributed anyhow. We will have some healthy snacks and some treats for the kids. There everyone happy now?

I got to the part where someone got upset that a 2 year old was not eating Mc Donalds. What happened after that?

to summarise :

one poster who clearly didn't let her children have sweets got quite fired up about the idea of "bad" treats being served at a childs party...and then it started to get a bit personal... Shocked

the other poster was basically saying lighten up, its a party afterall ! Roll Eyes

after a bit of banter the carrot eating poster wrote something in a foreign language that i could not understand !!! Shocked

but i assume it was not a nice complement ! Shocked

then the Board Moderator stepped in to sort things out (ie delete the posts !) Cheesy

oh i missed it too. a shame. i bet the other langauge was german? theirs someone here posting in german recently. luckily my german is very fluent so i dont miss them.
