Have been offered a job in London - package of approximately GBP 80K . I'm a Singaporean and understand there exists a tax treaty between Singapore and Great Britain which may allow me to be taxed at Singapore rates .

Comments/pitfalls/caveats anyone ?

err no, unfortunately if you are working in the UK you will be taxed at UK rates.

Tax treaties simply stop double-taxation, e.g. you will not also be taxed in Singapore on income you have already paid tax on in the UK.
