I was having a late lunch at the basement food court when I spotted a Chinese man, white woman in red, toddler in a high chair and a lady helping feed the little guy. Was that you LVS? Didn't want to go up and sound like a loonie bin asking the lady if that was you Cheesy

White woman / Asian guy couples aren't as common as the other way around BUT it's not like if you see one you should immediately assume it is our illustrious Lili!  I know of three such couples myself.  There must be hundreds in SG.

I know 3 of such combis myself and have seen plenty more, but it was just that the lady helping out looked v different from the typical Filipina/ Indon maid and I remember LVS said she had someone helping out who was married to a Singaporean or something.

Well, if that lady in red was absolutely brilliant and classy, than it most certainly WAS me!!!  Cheesy

Hahaha! But really, no. It was my doppleganger, who I send out in the world to enjoy life while I slog away at projects in my home office, checking in with the expat forum to ease my boredom and feed the procrastination monster. It's either read the expat forum or bang my head against the desk. Sometimes I do both.

Her husband might wonder if she's living a double life!

But you got me thinking what would happen if somebody ever came up to me and asked if I was Lili Von Shtupp? I'd probably fall over laughing!!! ...and then MY husband might wonder if I'm living a double life.  Wink

We are considering a new income stream. For QUALITY posters (no, we do not want Quantity per se!) who have contributed 15,000 posts, we will issue them with a nice Expat Singapore Car Plate and/or a unique collectors' badge or name tag. This will cost, of course; at least S$60.00 a piece. This way our Quality Members will be easily identifiable and have an immediate bonding with lesser members. While we have a few more dollars in our back pockets.

Well, LVS, you are *ONLY* 117 posts. You need another 14,883 QUALITY posts to qualify for the good stuff. Smiley And as the previous poster says, you will have to Q for it.

Aliya, while we're on the topic, have you noticed that you've got 908 posts while our Dear BoardManager has a mere 794? What's up with that?  Cheesy
