I just want to share with anyone here who might want to have a nice lunch meeting at Robertson Walk area one of these days, to try and avoid Sketches if you will. I'm sure the other resturarants would give you more for your buck.Sketches is not worth it. It was as I experienced yesterday, a mistake.

We ordered their set lunch -- a clam chowder, nothing like chowder at all -- just stock with a little bit of cream and vegetables.Sorely disappointing. Pizza with Zucchini and Onions. toppings so tiny you couldn't see them. Stinging on vegetables, what is that all about. And finally a stale bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They had the audacity to serve stale bread pudding.

Really not worth the price or the service or the meal. Spare yourself won't you.I took the risk and have no one to blame but myself.

I also tried Sketches once and big mistake.  Had pizza there if that is what you can call it.

Also beware of Pizza Pizza just a short walk away.  They only have 2 types of pizza, a 4 cheeses & meat lovers.  After receiving pizza's discovered why they only served the two types.....because they buy these from Cold Storage and serve them to you on a plate at $18 & $12.

Huge huge rip off, complained in writing but as usual they don't even bother getting back or following up....great customer service.

Please name me a place that serves a good SET LUNCH.
Even the good restaurants tend to serve crappy set lunches.

are you a competitor of sketch who's out to malign it using underhanded means? I am always very wary of posters who appear out of nowhere to complain about a restaurant. ...

Come on, someone has to start off a thread.  So what if they're not registered, they've got a complaint and others have agreed.  Are you sure you're not Sketches management feeling unhappy at the criticism?

Try the Palm Beach Seafood at One Fullerton.  The set lunch for 6 persons is fantastic - just tried it on Thursday.
