Singapore PR renewal/Becoming citizen

Hi,

I am a Malaysian wanting to take up Singapore citizenship. The problem now is that i have a property in Malaysia (with ongoing mortgage payment)...Should i want to renounce my malaysian citizenship, what will happen to my existing property in Malaysia?

I heard that there are some additional taxes that i need to pay for the property, however i do not know the exact procedures, cost etc.

Anyone can kindly help me about this?

I have a friend who her hubby kick her out of her house after 2years of her PR..Her PR is finsihing soon and her boy is 5 years old..Feel sad for her as her hubby is heartless and wanna have the house and boy and wanted her to just go back after her PR expired..Her hubby refused to renew her PR for her..
Anyone have any help to share with me..She worried if she divorce she may loss her PR and cannot see her boy forever..Really urgent..Her PR end on jan27 2011..Please someone advise me..
