Bad luck. Try not to worry too much about the flights - it's only one day (or night) each way and though it's hard at the time, it does come to an end! Do a search on this forum for travelling by plane with young children and you'll find lots of useful tips. If you can, book a seat for both children and take approved car seats, or at least a car seat for the older one ( request assistance at transfer). Book a sky cot and follow it up at every stage to make sure they don't forget about you. Plan ahead, travel with everything but the kitchen sink and it WILL be OK.

So sorry to hear about the visa refusal.  My sis has a Filipino maid and it was a nightmare to get visas for her.  Start a new thread on ways to cope.  You'll be fine. It will only be for the flight. Once you touch down, you can hand over the kiddies to the relatives!  Grin
