In the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy I found out some interesting info that I wish I had known sooner. If you are suffering from bad reflux that is quite acidic you can safely take 'citravescent' which restores your body PH. It is commmonly used for urinary tract infections. It is just a small sachet of ph nuetraliser added to a glass of water which is safe to take during pregnancy. I only found out in the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy after trying everything to get rid of the burning in my throat and after meals - and like magic no more burning. An Australian doctor suggested it to me, I consulted with my OBGYN here and she said it was worth a go. Again for me it has been like a magic solution so I thought I would share this idea with others. Remember to always run things by your own doctor. And for those pregnant ladies suffering from bad relfux I hope this will be helpful.

"Citravescent" is available at all chemists. It is a sachet twin pack that costs about $1 or you can buy a whole box of the stuff.
