No my child gets horrendous jetlag too and it generally takes 7 days to be normal again (this is travel to the UK)

When in UK I just put her to bed as late as possible when we arrive and then just have to suffer the 3am wake ups for a few days.

When we get back here I just put her to bed at the UK time and bring her bedtime back an hour a day - this usually works and then she is tired when she goes to bed.  Again this takes a week and I hate it!!

Ah, having to live such a hardship life and travelling back home! Those damn 14 hour flights!  Could always be much worse but yes, the jetlag can be a challenge, esp if you are not having the same issue!

Advice is to get on the plane and try to follow the time zone of destination as best as possible.

For us a 14 hour flight with a toddler is completely bearable, even if they stay awake and yell the whole time. It's only 14 hours...

Inconsiderate a**hole.
