Hi - need some help in researching on a condo I want to buy

Where a condo is marked for a specific height restriction in the masterplan, how does one find out the height restriction imposed by the URA?

to height

I think you mean "Where a condo is marked for a specific plot ratio.....

Below are the usual controls.

plot ratio   Height Res

1.4           5 storeys
1.6           12

2.1           24
2.8           36
>2.8         >36

However, there are exceptions.  An example is the area next to the Botanic Gardens is restricted to 4 storeys.

Yes - I know that. The condo I am looking at has a height restriction as such I wanted to confirm what is the height restriction in a particular condo (not the usual plot ratio/height formula).

These restrictions apply in the majority of condos - probably 95%.  If you are saying this specific condo is a special case, then you can find them on the new Masterplan.  Just look for "building height plan" on the 2008 Draft MP.
