Dubai to Singapore Salary // Any advice ?

Hi, I have just been offer a project manager position in Dubai for 35K AED per month plus 60K AED per annum education allowance. That's it. I will be moving to Dubai with a wife and 2 young daughters aged 7 (they are twin :-)). I am getting mixed messages reading all these threads on whether 30-35K AED per month is sufficient or not. I am looking for a 2-3 bedrooms apartment/house near Emaar Business Park - any idea of the rental cost within a 5-10kms radius ? and more importantly are they any good internatiional schools in the vicinty ? BTW, what sort of salary should I be looking at - I have 18 yrs experience in the IT line - mainly Oracle eBusiness (ERP) system.
