If it's within your budget, Al Qasr hotel on the beach at Madinat Jumeirah.

Madinate is great, Jumeirah Beach resort, Al Bustan Rotana near the airport. There are so many hotels along the beach but it's going to be at least 40 degrees outside. Not great for little ones.

I am moving to Dubai for 3 years.
Is there any place to go out at night ? Any area like Clark Quay - not sleazy ?
Thanks

There are some restaurant / bar type areas, plus hotel bars.
Never seen so many hookers in my life as in Dubai at the 5 star hotels though.

Hi
Dubai is a good place to take a break between long haul flights from Australia S.E Asia and Europe .May to September are the hot months so should keep that in mind when you do visit the region.Though as its off season you can get some good summer deals with hotels .Generally they are expensive by world standards .
Emirates has some good stop over packages ,which include hotel ,breakfast airport pick up /drop and visa incase you do require a visa .You have to book the package outside the UAE.
Dubaigirl are you in Singapore or Dubai ?-your insight to UAE is accurate

Nightlife, there are lots of bars and nightclubs. You should have a ball in Dubai.
