Thats exactly the crux of the matter! Somebody here was touting property and stroking fears that we will miss out. He does not get the point that there are other investment options out there and keeps harping on his one and only BOAT.

I think due to your excitement you misunderstood PP. Read again carefully.

I cannot miss out because I am still vested in my current property. Cheesy

The only difference is the scale of gains that I get, could make more but made less but making profit either way. Just want to protect my gainsby cashing out.

Your words tells me that your investment philosophy is one that is either hit or miss, cathc the boat or miss out. Whereas for me I am diversified and can take advantage of any situation which ever way the market turns.

Please do not prove that you are a SILLYPOREAN by contradicting yourself.

You forgot that I am a local and locals stay in a place they own and do not rent. If I sold out and am not renting, where am i staying now my friend?

Please do not make yourself look more sillier.

You mean ALL Singaporeans own the properties that they stay in? No body rents.? Have you not heard of locals selling out their only residential property hoping to buy it again at lower price  and in the meantime stay in rented apts. Yoo seem to fit that profile of desperados who will do anything to make some miserable amount of $$.

Do not expect people to make assumptions.

Even a Harvard English Professor would draw the same conclusions as I did.

Yes, silly me, I should have made it more plain to a harvard professor like yourself. You are absolutely right that I am silly, that I am desperate, that I am foolish.

I am also happy. I hope you are too.

Locals live in their 4 room HDB along with at least 2 other generations, and rub their hands in glee at all the money they are screwing out of those expat b@stards.  Shame they can't enjoy life but have to show how wealthy they are by owning a flash watch or the latest handphone...
