Hi,

We've signed a letter of intent and a tenancy agreement plus given a check for the first month's rent.

I just found out from the agent that he has to meet with the LLs on Saturday to explain some of the clauses in the TA so they fully understand the legal implications and their responsibility.  This is probably because we negotiated on a few of the clauses.  However, I am surprised that the agent still has to meet with the LLs to discuss as I understood that they had agreed to our requested amendments.

Once the LLs have signed the TA the agent will give us a copy.

Can the LLs back out at this stage?  I would think yes but would love to hear from any experts and from other people's experiences.

thanks

If the TA is not signed, there is no contract. Either party can still back out.
