Any Malaysian Successful converted to Singaporean..pls help, need clearification

Me and my wife both are Malaysian-chinese and both of us are Singapore PR, working in Singapore. We are considering to convert either one of us to Singaporean because of our 2 baby (elder on is 20mths old, and the younger one is only 3mths old), partly also due to the baby bonus and also the baby future, their education and madical expenses..ect.
Question:-
1) Me and my wife is wondering, if after either one of us sucessfully converted to Singaporean, can we still apply for Malaysian PR in future..?
2) If either one of us converted to singaporean, it is mean our 2 baby will also need to convert as well..?
3) Are we still entitle for the baby bonus for both of the baby we have..?
Hope any of you understand the situation can help to clear our doubt.. Thanks.

Highly doubtful you can get your Malaysian PR once you have given up you citizenship, but that does not mean you cannot retire in Malaysia in the future though. It is a separate consideration for retirement from what I know.
As for your baby bonus, why don't you call up the department concerned as though one of you is already a citizen ?
Hope this help.

To the original poster:
I do wonder whether you given thorough consideration to what you are doing in Singapore.
For that matter, anyone else who wants a bob each way with going for a PR or full citizenship.
The former dooms you to a floating life with neither roots nor heart on the place which gives you and your family succour.
The latter to me suggests that you are principled and honest enough to make a stand and be proud of where you're able to maximise your life's potential - in whatever shape or form.
By the way, this issue isn't simply limited to immigrants in Singapore.
We've got heaps of these flip-floppers in Oz who'd choose to enjoy all the benefits of this country and yet would not think twice about leaving or bagging her at the first sign of turbulence.
Dual nationality be buggered; grow a set and make a stand!
