Does anyone know much about the 529 plan? mostly, which state is better. I have read on it but was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts with me. I am planning in this for my son's future but a bit confused as to which state to get it from!!

Any suggestions???

Thanks

You can really choose any state, so go for the lowest fees! I went through Fidelity and did the New Hampshire one, it was the lowest fees when I was signing up. There may be lower ones out there. Fidelity does have a good section about this on their site, you might also try Vanguard to see what they say.

New York's is very good.  Professional management with a long track record, good website, overall well regulated.  Have been in it for my niece/newphews as well as my children since 2000
