What else we choose to do with our lives while we are alive is up to us, but that's the main reason we exist........I believe.

When you are born you are naked and have nothing.  When you die you are naked and need nothing.

Everything in between is just unnecessary detail.

(PS - Post of the day award to "FOA Pleasure" - brilliant. I am so glad I have made it a point to disappoint women. At least something achievable in my lifetime.)

To Pleasure:
I have a blocked toilet, a large credit card bill and a baby who needs a nappy change.  If your purpose is life is to please women, then come around to my apartment and sort these things out Kiss

Well. I am here to get drunk and get laid every night .... Chin up and march!

If that's your technique then I don't think you're going to get much action!

To(FOA Pleasure), RIGHT TO GO!!!  Wink Grin

To(the truth of it), get your facts right!!!  We are human not animals.  GOD creates us with a brain to think not like animals that can't naturally.  Human are the most beautiful creature that GOD have create.  Almost perfect but not exactly perfect. . . Smiley Wink

Even though now a days ppl are saying animals got brain which I think not really a good sentences or phrase to say.  They are actually well trained, that's why they seem to be able to think infact, no they can't.  They are merely following instructions what to do, or where to go... Smiley

IS Your argument is based on believing in a god of some sort? Are you suggesting that it is your god that gives me a purpose? If so, I would find that very hard to swallow...

My dear friend!

I'm sorry Sad if I have offended you in one way or another, but I don't really mentioned 'my' GOD!  I basically says 'GOD', because I know we all have different beliefs.

To others too, if my earlier posting have given you all the wrong perception. My greatest apology!!!

All religions definately have GOD right?  So 'HE' definately create you with a purpose.  'HE' creates other creature too with a purpose.  We all have a purpose in life.  It just how fast or slow we can find that purpose.

Once again I'm sorry and no hard feelings. . .FRIENDS??? Smiley

sorry, but as I don't believe in a god, yours or anyone elses, I don't believe that people were created by anyone.  They're the same as animals, evolved over time from apes and just ended up being higher up the food chain and somewhat higher in intelligence (although obviously not too intelligent or we wouldn't be destroying our environment at the rate we are!)

I did say in my first post that this was my own belief and as it is obviously not yours I'm not expecting you to change your opinion, nor am I expecting you to to try and change mine thanks.

Thank you - I do get a little tired of the assumption that all people have faith in some imaginary friend.

As "the truth of it" said  - "I'm not expecting you to change your opinion, nor am I expecting you to to try and change mine thanks."

Drink Gin.  Shout at the beagles.

This made me laugh so much.  I have this picture in my head of a drunken bag-lady-type on the streets of some nice Singapore housing estate or a posh condo, shouting at beagles being taken for their thrice daily walk! What made me laugh more, was the added image of every other breed of dog being ignored by the bag-lady.

Oh god!  I hope this is not the case. I hope you do actually own  beagles! Wink

As humans, we exercise our free will to determine our purpose in life.  "God" doesn't decide it.  It is entirely up to us to decide what we want to experience, take the consequences of our actions and learn from it.  We are also capable of changing our purpose as soon as we're done with the previous one.

Only those with good hearts and the courage of their convictions have choices.
For the rest of us, we just react to situations beyond our control.

Dogs are evolved from apes?  And everything evolved from apes? What about fish?  Did they evolve from apes?

I think I am going to have to go back and redo my book and a fair amount of my work.  When are you available to meet up for a latte to discuss?
