Hi, could someone kindly give me an estimate of how much rental rates over the last 12 months have decreased across Singapore (%). Preferably across Singapore for Condo's.

Am about to negotiate with the current landlord for the next year.

We have just taken a place in the orchard area and are paying 2K for a 3 bedroom, with pool and gym. Same was going for 3.8K to 4K over a year ago.

Im moved into a 3+1 2000sq place on scotts road last january and pay 8,300 a month, now i hear they are going for 5,500. i know that others who moved here a few months before me were paying 11k and when i looked at the four seasons et al that was up in the 13k region but now they are down to 8/9k so it shows you that even the very best is coming down.
happy hunting.

In recent times, rentals have dropped atleast by 20%.  Condos over 5k per month have dropped more !!

Hope this helps.

Has the rental price for bunglows, or houses on their own lot gone down?  We started renting a house 2 years ago in Holland Grove near the Jelita Cold Storage for 8,500.
