That sounds like fun. Especially if a little later like 9 or 10 when you can get into some brunch type foods. How about some good fresh fruit, scones of some type (raspberry filled almond scones, gingerbread scones, cream scones, apple and spice-will share recipes if you want them), maybe scrambled eggs, back bacon or ham or smoked salmon, I have a recipe for "Mexican fudge" which is essentially a cheese, egg and salsa dish that you can cut in squares or scoop up on bread, crackers etc. Maybe some wassail to drink. A cereal or two for anyone who wants to eat really light?

Never made scones before. Are they easy? Please share any recipes. All this cooking and entertaining is new for me and I am quite enjoying it. Slowly starting to feel confident too.

Scones are pretty easy. I think the secret is to not overmix or overwork the dough. I used to mix up everything but the liquids the night before and get up and make cream scones with raspberry jam on Saturday mornings. It worked out really well. Which recipes in particular do you want and I'll work on getting them in tomorrow.

The easiest way for me to get them to you is for me to scan them into the computer and attach the documents to an email. Can you send me a private mail with your email? Thanks
