if u ask me.. maybe u should seek some legal advice .. its relatively cheap to seek consultation - maybe $200 o $400 to know your legal standing and options.
safer than to rely on just our advise. also employers are not fearful of MOM or small claim.. its part of their routine as it seems that they have been doing this and there might be other silent victim.
seeking legal advise and getting your counsel to speak to the empolyer will serve as a strong deterent to your employer and even if legally u are binded, you might find an escape clauss since they wouldnt want to be engage in long legal tussel.
