I'm trying to look for a nursery for my 20month old, but am completely befuddled by the various lists I've found on the internet and from the MOE.I'm looking in the Thomson / Novena / Newton area. I'm after the usual things: clean, bright, professional teachers, loving and caring, decent English spoken etc

Anyone have any pointers or recommendations?

I can highly recommend Pat's school house - both my children attend the Halifax rd one.  They do have waiting lists though - so I am not sure how easy it is to get in.  You might get lucky.

PMI (preschool for multiple intelligence) is really good for this age group.

I have 5 different friends who send their little ones there and very very happy.
