My son (age 17) has a 10 hour stopover in Dubai airport. He's quite keen to do a bit of sightseeing, especially the Burj building, but will he have time? Do they operate tours from the airport or anything like that? I've checked the airport's website but I can't find any information on tours, or even how to get to the city from the airport.

I'm a bit wary of him leaving the airport and getting taxis and wandering off in case he doesn't make it back to the airport in time!

TIA

10 hours in Dubai airport is a lot of time ,but that depends on when he arrives and departs .At Dubai airport past customs all the tour operators have a kiosk at the airport .You could ask Arabian Adventures owned by Emirates airline about the tours - If he is flying Emirates can avail the Dubai stop over package .Where pick up drop to the airport is included and a night at a hotel .One can book from 2 star to deluxe hotels at reasonable price .

If h clears customs and immigration perhaps he must take his baggage too?
Why not ask DNATA or the Meet & Greet people at Marhaba?
