Treknology bikes have a good selection of all things bike related. There's a branch at Henry Park, near Jelita (near Holland Village) and another at Tanglin, at the front of the building where Dan Ryan's restaurant is located, on the corner next door to the Regent Hotel.

Agree with PP, we purchased our 3 year olds helmet from the Henry Park store.

try Carrefour.  I got one for about $9.90.  Trek ones will probably set you back about 60 bucks.  Both are a bit of polystyrene covered with plastic, but one has 'Trek' on the side.

spend the $60 and assume some assurance of quality/safety testing.  when my child fell and cracked the helmet open but head was okay i'm glad it happened in a trek helmet and not a cheapy.  if you take good care of the helmet (excluding bad falls) they should last a few years as have adjustable sizing strap.

That 9.90 helmet is not going to provide much protection, have seen them in several places and you might as well not wear a helmet.
