What is the French word for describing the scent of a woman? In a nice, complimentary way, that is. I think there's a rude version? Is there a similar word for men? Merci!

I think the word "parfum" is normally used as in the French film: "Le parfum de la dame en noir" (The scent of the womn in black)

"Parfum" is a good way to say it
You could also use "odeur" but it's more neutral and can be rude depending on the context.

Elle pue comme une vache

Kidding

Sentir bon or bonne odeur or une odeur plaisante is a better way of saying

if a woman you say "Elle sent bon" or "Elle a une bonne odeur"

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.
