well...I wouldnt want to pay 4k. But if I compare it to today's rental prices where 3K would get me an ok 1 bedder in the same area, then it would seem reasonable.

In terms of facilities - no pool or gym, but I rarely use these things anyway. But, running track ON THE ROOF! That's something I could see myself using. Imagine the breeze!

As these are new HDB flats, no owner is legally entitled to rent out or sell his unit until five years have passed.

However, I think they're allowed to sublet parts of the unit. (in its widest interpretation)

err - PP, isn't it an HDB? I am an expat.

Yes but its still a sure bet to make money.  Lots of us here are married to singaporeans so we could in theory buy into it still.

The Pinnacle is built for a specific purpose-- show off to foreign dignitaries. It is located in Tangjong Pagar whose MPs includes MMLee.

hi Question:

5 sky scrapers (wow that sounds like an 80's term!) with multi level running tracks running across all 5 towers. And its not an "Integrated Resort" - it's public housing. Do you know of such a building in any other cities?

Why yes. How about Broadwater Farm Estate located in Tottenham, North London? Running or falling from the aesthetic pleasing apartment blocks is a popular past time.

For the agent from a few posts back: You can rent Emerald Gardens for a lot less than 4k. Stop your agent BS!!!!

Why does that make it a sure bet?

You are an agent not an expat.

To other posters, no would not live there.  Don't like tanjong pagar and want a swimming pool.  As for running I have a perfectly good park over the road.
